As a partner, the Ministry of Health and Child Care in Zimbabwe, is committed to protecting children from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.

As part of their contribution to the Children's Environmental Health Collaborative and the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, they are committed to the following activities:

  • Ongoing collaboration with UNICEF in conducting environmental health assessments to safeguard the children of Zimbabwe from the debilitating effects of lead poisoning.
  • Leveraging the technical expertise, global networks and practical resources these partnerships provide to strengthen Zimbabwe's national interventions and policy frameworks.
  • Engaging according to their capacity to lead country-led approaches with the support of technical guidance.
