Tajikistan (Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population)

As a partner, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan is committed to protecting children from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation. 

As part of their contribution to the Children's Environmental Health Collaborative and the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, they commit to the following activities:

  1. Advocating for prioritizing children’s environmental health in international forums, including through joint communication and advocacy initiatives where appropriate.
  2. Supporting research and the exchange of guidance, tools and best practices related to the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children’s health.
  3. Providing technical assistance, expertise and technical resources in the field of children’s
    environmental health.
  4. Participating in joint meetings and collaborative activities aimed at strengthening coordinated approaches to protecting children from environmental health risks.
