As a partner, the Ministry of Health and Mass Media of Sri Lanka is committed to protecting children from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.

As part of their contribution to the Children's Environmental Health Collaborative and the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, they commit to the following activities:

  1. Advocate for prioritizing children's environmental health at key international forums, including through joint communication and advocacy products whenever possible.
  2. Contribute to research on the specific impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children’s health and sharing guidance, tools and best-practices to protect children from these impacts.
  3. Provide technical assistance, expertise and technical resources on children’s environmental health.
  4. Participate in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children environmental health.
