As a partner, the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Mali commits to protecting children’s health and development from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.
As part of their contribution to the Collaborative and the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, they commit to the following activities:
- Advocate for prioritizing children’s environmental health in key international forums, including through joint communications and advocacy products where possible.
- Contribute to research on the specific impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children's health and share advice, tools and best practices to protect children from these impacts.
- Provide technical assistance, expertise, and resources on children’s environmental health.
- Participate in joint meetings and promote coherent approaches to protect children’s environmental health.
