Eritrea (Ministry of Land, Water & Environment)

As a partner, the Ministry of Land, Water & Environment of Eritrea is committed to protecting children from the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.

As part of their contribution to the Children's Environmental Health Collaborative and the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future, they commit to the following activities:

  1. Advocate for prioritizing children's environmental health in key international forums, including through joint co-branded communication and advocacy products, when feasible.
  2. Conduct research and studies on the specific impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on children's health and share guidance, tools and best practices to protect children from these impacts.
  3. Provide necessary resources on children's environmental health.
  4. Deliver clean and safe drinking water to protect children from water-borne and water-related diseases.
  5. Participate in joint convenings and promote coherent approaches to protecting children's environmental health.
